Braehead Cottage is set in a beautiful location next to the banks of the River Earn, in St Fillans, by the shores of Loch Earn. The village is located in the north east of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, which is in the southern highlands of Scotland. It is a great place for exploring Scotland with your family. Many popular destinations are within easy reach from the cottage by car, and it is easily accessible from the main cities of Scotland. Both Edinburgh and Glasgow, where the main airports are located, are just over an hour’s drive from the cottage.

This family friendly cottage is fully equipped for your stay, with lovely wooden floors and comfortable furniture, an open fire, satellite TV, DVD player, dining table. There’s a well kitted out kitchen for your self catering needs, with range cooker, large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and a large private garden to the rear, plus a terrace with a barbecue. Driving through the stunning Scottish countryside will be your first adventure. Braehead Cottage is located in St Fillans, which lies in a beautiful part of the southern highlands. The village is situated on the A85 trunk road that heads west from the city of Perth, which is about 30 miles away.

Braehead Cottage sits adjacent to the village store in St Fillans, so you don’t have to travel far for any necessities. Comrie is 5 miles away and the nearest town in this part of Perthshire is Crieff, only 14 miles away. Here you can find amenities including large supermarkets, banks and fuel. Scotland’s largest cities, Glasgow and Edinburgh, are both about 60 miles from the cottage.
