Braehead Cottage was built in 1886 as part of the original Drummond Estates village of St Fillans. The outside of the cottage features a traditional slate roof and walls of locally quarried bluestone, which blends perfectly with the hilly backdrop and leafy setting by the banks for the River Earn.
Enjoy an al fresco drink or a barbecue on the elevated terrace behind the cottage, which looks north to the hills. Behind the cottage sits a large private garden for you to relax in, which also makes a great play area for children.
Take a stroll 100 yards along the road to take in the view along magnificent Loch Earn, with the mountains rising either side, and be sure to stop by one of the village hotels where you can enjoy fine dining in one of the restaurants, or even a wee dram of whisky.
