1 Dundurn Pict Hill Dundurn is a small, steep rocky knoll, which was the site of a Pictish fort as well as the cell of Saint Fillan, and makes a nice walk from the cottage.
2 St Fillans Circular This circular walking route just along the road from the cottage features a climb to a fine viewpoint followed by a walk through woods behind St Fillans.
3 St Fillans Golf Club The village’s local golf club features a challenging 9 hole course surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
4 Active Scotland Lochearnhead Adjacent to the Clachan Cottage Hotel in Lochearnhead at the other end of the loch, Active Scotland provide water sports facilities and lessons.
5 Loch Earn Fishing / Drummond Trout Farm The fishing is managed by Loch Earn Fishings, which pursues an active brown trout re-stocking programme.

10 Glen Ogle Trail A great family walk, this waymarked trail takes the old railway line out of Lochearnhead to head towards the pass to Killin. Starts just opposite the Watersports Centre, 10 minutes away.
11 Deils Cauldron and the Melville Monument About a 10 minute drive from St Fillans, this walk starts in Comrie and follows a rocky gorge before climbing up to the monument.
12 Comrie Croft Bikes An established bike rental centre about 15 minutes drive away, with trails, skills and fun park, plus other facilities, catering for all ages.
13 The Loch Katrine Experience Cruise on the historic Steamship Sir Walter Scott, hire bikes and explore the area, or visit the gift shop and restaurant. About 45 minutes away.
14 The Hamilton Toy Collection Half an hour’s drive from St Fillans, this museum boasts ‘every type of toy you can remember’, housed in a former guesthouse on Callander’s Main Street.
